The heart behind Willow Rise Therapy

Story behind the name: The willow tree has always been a symbol of quiet strength, resilience, and adaptability. Its branches bend in the wind without breaking, moving gracefully through life’s storms while staying firmly rooted.

In my work as a therapist, I’ve found that healing often looks the same. We may be shaken by life’s challenges—loss, transitions, uncertainty—but we have the capacity to bend, to adapt, and to rise again.

The name Willow Rise Therapy reflects this belief: that no matter what you’re facing, you carry within you the strength to grow through it. My role is to offer a safe and steady space where you can reconnect with that strength, explore new ways of being, and rise toward the life you want to create.

Just like the willow, your journey will be unique—shaped by your story, your experiences, and your values. Here, your story will be heard, your resilience honored, and your growth supported every step of the way.

Does any of this sound familiar?

You’ve been carrying a lot lately. Maybe you’re the one everyone turns to, the one who keeps it all together — but inside, you’re tired. Really tired. Life has thrown you some big changes: a new baby, a career shift, a relationship ending, or a season of figuring out who you are now. You might love parts of your life, but you miss pieces of the “old you” and sometimes wonder if it’s okay to feel that way.

You catch yourself replaying conversations, running through “what ifs,” or feeling like you can’t quite rest. Boundaries feel hard — you say “yes” when you want to say “no,” and “no” when you wish you could say “yes.”

Maybe you’ve walked through loss or disappointment, or you’re in recovery from substance use — or you deeply love someone who is — and you’re trying to navigate the complicated mix of hope, boundaries, and worry that comes with it. You’ve done your best to manage it all on your own, but the self-doubt, anxiety, or overwhelm keep showing up.

If any of this feels familiar, you’re in the right place. Here, you don’t have to hold it all together. Together, we can explore what’s weighing on you, create space for your truth, and help you reconnect with the parts of yourself that feel most alive, grounded, and you.

TRANSPARENCY, always.

The No Surprises Act is a federal law designed to increase price transparency and help prevent clients from receiving unexpected medical bills. It requires health care providers to give clients a clear estimate of the expected cost for services before those services are provided. Since January 1, 2023, behavioral health providers have been required to give uninsured and self-pay clients a Good Faith Estimate of costs when scheduling a new service, or upon client request (whichever comes first).

Even before this law, therapists were ethically obligated to inform clients about costs in advance. The No Surprises Act simply adds more formal requirements to ensure clients have written documentation of anticipated fees.

At Willow Rise Therapy, all self-pay clients will receive:

  • A Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate Information Summary

  • Details about anticipated costs when services are first established

This ensures you always know what to expect financially — no surprises, just clarity.
